Connect various Ethernet-enabled devices to your existing wired network with the TL-SG108 8-Port 10/100/1000Mbps Desktop Switch from TP-Link. Featuring 8 Gigabit Ethernet ports, this unmanaged switch is compliant with IEEE 802.3ab, 802.3x, 802.3u and 802.3i networking standards. 802.1p support helps prioritize latency-sensitive traffic such as voice, video, and gaming, while IGMP snooping helps optimize multicast traffic.
The TL-SG108 is equipped with a number of energy-saving features designed to reduce power consumption depending on the number of ports used and cable lengths, while the fanless design of the device helps ensure quiet operation. The switch in the steel housing can be placed on the desk or mounted on the wall.
Simple setup
The TL-SG108 has a plug-and-play design that requires no configuration, and auto MDI/MDIX eliminates the need for crossover cables. Auto-negotiation on each port detects the network device’s link speed and adjusts for compatibility and optimal performance.
Power saving features
The TL-SG108 is designed to save power by automatically detecting the link status of each port and reducing the power consumption of ports that are idle, resulting in a reduction in power consumption of up to 82%. The switch also adjusts its power budget based on the length of the cables you use.
Traffic optimization
802.1p and DSCP QoS help smooth the flow of delay-sensitive traffic such as voice and video, while IGMP snooping optimizes the multicast data stream.
